Here be recipes…well not all of them yet, but as I get them written down.
With several nationalities in the family, plus the vegetarians and vegans, I’ve been lucky to grow up with a varied tradition when it comes to food.
In my mothers family, good food was always considered the height of any event – I remember Christmas with my Grandma, in her broken swedish, always saying “Eat more, eat more”. To her, cooking was an expression of her love for her family.
So this is really a family cookbook, we have no secret recipes – good food is supposed to be shared 🙂

Grandma’s macaroni dish preptime 25 min. +1 hour in the oven
500 grams thinshelled macaroni
1 liter fullmilk
250-500 grams of ground beef
salt, pepper and thyme
you’ll need 1 fryingpan, 1 pot for the macaronis, and any ovenproof dish, pot, pan or the like that will hold around 3 liters.
1. Put water to boil for the pasta and heat up the fryingpan. preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, 180 if convection-oven.
2. Roast the ground beef at high heat with a pinch of salt and pepper and a sprig of thyme – remember to taste.
Boil the pasta with a bit of salt in the water.
3. Drain the pasta, put it in the ovenproof container, mix in the ground beef and pour the milk over the mix.
Bake the mix for approximately 1 hour, stirring the mix every 15 minutes, the milk should be condensed by then.
